Good news on Cody's MRI

In checking with some of the Alabama folks, the MRI on Terrence Cody's right knee confirmed what doctors felt Saturday, and that is he won't need surgery.

Alabama coach Nick Saban is supposed to update Cody's situation later today. He's expected to miss the next week or two, but should be back in time for the LSU game on Nov. 8.

We'll have more on Cody later today.
