Lots of coaching buzz in the news. Here's our daily look at what others are writing and saying around the SEC:

Tennessee athletic director Mike Hamilton, who'd been keeping a low profile this season with the Vols struggling, told the Knoxville News-Sentinel that he won't be afraid to make a coaching move with Phillip Fulmer and wouldn't rule out making one before the season is over if the situation warrants it.

Doug Segrest of The Birmingham News handicaps the top challengers' chances of finishing No. 1 in the final BCS standings and writes that Alabama is in better shape than anybody else.

Tony Barnhart of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution says that Clemson would be wise to hire Vanderbilt's Bobby Johnson, who's a Clemson graduate.

Kentucky offensive coordinator Joker Phillips is confident that true freshman Randall Cobb can be the spark the Wildcats need on offense wherever he plays.

Georgia's secondary is looking for more interceptions. Part of the Bulldogs' problems has been dropping the ones they've had in their hands.
