Who's going to win? Week 15 Pac-10 picks

Technically, I went 4-0 last week, but as our more astute readers know one pick ended up being right due to the karmic dissonance that was created when too much attention was called to the fairy dust of magical wrongness. I should have just taken my lumps from the Beaver Nation without explanation. Perhaps I need to pen an apology to Mike Riley and Company?

Or maybe it's all Chip Kelly's fault?

So this one goes into the books as 3 1/2-0... season record now 56 1/2-16.

California 77, Washington 6: California coach Jeff Tedford finally yanks running back Jahvid Best in the third quarter after Best's eight touchdowns make him the clear choice as first-team All-Pac-10 running back alongside Oregon State's Jacquizz Rodgers.

USC 41, UCLA 6: In the 1988 art-house classic, "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka," the protagonist is told "There's two ways out of here... the stairs or the window." My guess is USC will choose the window for UCLA.

Arizona 24, Arizona State 17: Arizona has two things going for it in this heated rivalry: It's playing at home and Arizona State has no offense. The Sun Devils' defense figures to have an off-night, only scoring, say, only 10 points in this one -- compared to 28 last week vs. UCLA -- and that won't be enough. The Wildcats will end a three-game losing streak in the series and create momentum for coach Mike Stoops, while sending ASU home for the bowl season.

Pac-10 general, week 15 picks, Arizona Wildcats, Arizona State Sun Devils, California Bears, Oregon Ducks, Oregon State Beavers, UCLA Bruins, USC Trojans, Washington Huskies, Jeff Tedford, Mike Leach, Kevin Craft
