Oregon State quarterback Lyle Moevao didn't practice again Thursday and is questionable for the Beavers' visit to Arizona, a game with major Rose Bowl implications.
If Moevao, who's nursing a sore throwing shoulder, can't go, Sean Canfield will get the start. Canfield came off the bench in the second quarter of the win over Arizona State and then started the following weekend and led a victory over UCLA.
Canfield, a nine-game starter last season, has completed 36 of 52 passes for 479 yards this season with five touchdowns and two interceptions.
Moevao showed some rust starting the win over California last weekend, completing 14 of 28 for 145 yards with an interception, but after the game he said illness, not his shoulder, was bothering him.
The Beavers will earn their first Rose Bowl berth since 1965 if they win their next two games. They conclude their season at home on Nov. 29 against rival Oregon in the annual Civil War.
