Tulane and Ole Miss have agreed to a four-game series beginning at the Louisiana Superdome on Sept. 11, 2010.
Tulane will host the first game and will travel to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford on Sept. 22, 2012. The game will return to New Orleans in 2016 and end at Ole Miss in 2017.
"We're pleased to restart this four-game home-and-home series," Tulane athletics director Rick Dickson said. "This adds back another of our historic rivalries to our schedule along with Alabama, Georgia Tech and others."
The game in 2010 will mark the first time these two teams will play each other in nine years despite the rivalry going back almost 70 years -- the longest running series for both teams. The teams first met in 1893 and Ole Miss holds a 41-28 overall advantage.
