No catchy theme today, just a few links about position changes and offensive and defensive units getting better. That stuff is always relevant especially when we're just four months away from the start of the season.

• The Colorado State defense is coming along despite the loss of two star linebackers.

• Ball State's offensive line will be the key to the Cardinals success this season especially with a 5-foot-6 running back and a new quarterback.

• New Mexico's offensive line has to get in better shape to keep up with coach Mike Locksley's new non-huddle system.

• Former UTEP quarterbacking product Jeremy Springer is hoping to make a name for himself at linebacker this season.

• Central Michigan quarterback Ryan Radcliff decided to forego a potential professional baseball career to sit out a season with the Chippewas. Now, he's ready for some action.

Colorado State Rams, Ball State Cardinals, New Mexico Lobos, Texas-El Paso Miners, Central Michigan Chippewas
