The Mid-American Conference has released its league schedule confirming several nonconference scheduling changes that have been speculated the past month.
- Bowling Green dumped its game against Wyoming on Oct. 3 and will play a conference game against Ohio that date.
- Wyoming now will play Florida Atlantic on Oct. 3.
- Bowling Green's nonconference schedule consists of Troy (Sept. 3), at Missouri (Sept. 12), at Marshall (Sept. 19) and home against Boise State (Sept. 26). Boise State was originally scheduled to play Toledo, but that game will be played in 2011 to accommodate Toledo's game against Colorado.
- Miami (Ohio) also released its 2009 nonconference schedule, which includes games against Kentucky (Sept. 5) at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, at Boise State (Sept. 12), against Cincinnati (Oct. 3), and at Northwestern (Oct. 10). The RedHawks have games at Western Michigan and Kent State on Sept. 19 and 26, respectively.
- Akron, the only Mid-American team that had an open date, plays at Penn State (Sept. 5), against Morgan State (Sept. 12), against Indiana (Sept 19), and at Syracuse (Oct. 24).
