The NFL just announced that Minnesota Vikings left tackle Bryant McKinnie has been suspended for the first four games of the season for violating its personal conduct policy. He was arrested in February after a brawl outside a Miami nightclub, but the issue has not yet been settled in court; McKinnie faces a Sept. 24 court date.

He won't be eligible to play until the Vikings' Oct. 6 game at New Orleans. As part of the punishment, McKinnie will forfeit four game checks worth a total of $764,705.88

We'll bring you analysis a bit later but wanted to make sure you had the news as quickly as possible.
