The Broncos just sent this injury update on receiver Clifford Russell who was taken out on a stretcher today in the Broncos 33-19 loss at Kansas City:
Denver Broncos wide receiver Clifford Russell, who suffered a sprained neck during Sunday's game at Kansas City, was released from the hospital following examination and accompanied the team on its charter flight back to Denver.
That is clearly excellent news. Russell was moving his hands when he was taken off the field. He was hurt while playing on the kick coverage unit.
