Rams coach Jim Haslett won two replay reversals against referee Jeff Triplette in Week 8.

Haslett's replay record stood at 4-15 during his previous stint as a head coach. The former Saints coach isn't the only one learning how to work the system.

Head coaches are winning replay reversals 39.6 percent of the time this season. The rate has increased every season but one since coaches won reversals 28 percent of the time in 2003.

Seattle's Mike Holmgren, called out after losing 17 consecutive challenges from 2000 to 2004, has won five of seven challenges since the start of last season.

Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt is still finding his way. His challenge record stands at 1-7, including 0-2 this season.

The chart shows penalty and replay information by referee. Ed Hochuli, who suffered about one replay reversal every four games from 2003 through 2007, already has six in seven games this season. John Parry and Jerome Boger are the only referees without a reversal this season.

Note: Referees assessed the fewest penalties per game in Week 9 than in any week this season, but replay reversals spiked to a season high.
