KIRKLAND, Wash. -- Offseasons are when players and coaches talk about using versatile players in new positions. Regular seasons tend to be when players and coaches play things a little safer. That said, Rams return specialist Dante Hall does envision getting some snaps in new coordinator Al Saunders' offense. Hall wants to play enough to keep himself loose between returns.

"Having Coach Al Saunders here, I will have the opportunity to do that and it will definitely help me out as far as game day," Hall told reporters at Rams camp. "It is a whole different philosophy from what we had last year and more than anything, it will be different for NFC West teams who have not seen it before."

Hall said he has adjusted his diet and conditioning to prevent against injuries. Hall caught five passes last season, his first with the Rams. He caught 145 over the previous five seasons with Kansas City. Saunders was on the Chiefs' staff for four of those seasons.
