Sears added to Bucs' injury list

TAMPA, Fla. -- Injuries seldom creep up in the middle of the week, but the Bucs got a surprise that could be significant. Starting guard Arron Sears sat out Thursday's practice after getting hit in the head in Wednesday's practice.

Coach Jon Gruden said Sears may have suffered a mild concussion. Gruden said he's hopeful Sears can play Sunday, but the team will evaluate his condition again Friday. Rookie Jeremy Zuttah is the top backup guard.

Running back Warrick Dunn and safety Jermaine Phillips also sat out Thursday's practice.
