They're 3-1, but I'm not really sure how. The Bucs have changed quarterbacks, been without their top receiver for much of the season and had their running game disappear at times. But they obviously are doing plenty of things right.
OFFENSE: Brian Griese is 3-0 since taking over for Jeff Garcia as the starter and he had a 400-yard passing game against Chicago. He's also thrown three interceptions in each of the last two games. Receiver Joey Galloway has been out with an injury, but the Bucs are getting big production from Antonio Bryant. The running game, with Earnest Graham and Warrick Dunn has looked very good at times and mediocre at other times. GRADE: B-
DEFENSE: Derrick Brooks, Ronde Barber and Kevin Carter are getting older. But they're still producing and so are a lot of younger players. Defensive end Gaines Adams is off to a great start in his second season and middle linebacker Barrett Ruud is becoming a force. Monte Kiffin's defensive system is showing it can hold up over time. GRADE: A
COACHING: Jon Gruden takes heat for the way he goes through quarterbacks and for calling 67 pass plays against the Bears. That's understandable. But the bottom line is that he's winning. GRADE: B
