IRVING, Texas -- Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo skipped his weekly media session Tuesday, but Terrell Owens provided plenty of fodder. He said that his 213-yard, one-touchdown performance Sunday has left him hungry for more.

"I'm still not satisfied," T.O. said Tuesday. "I think that I could have done more. Up until this point, I understand the situations that we've had in front of us. We've had a lot of injuries. We haven't been able to throw the ball as much, as well without Tony in there. I understand the situation. For me, I'm just being patient and trying to take advantage of the opportunities when they do come my way."

T.O. once again defended himself for not being able to beat press coverage for most of the season, saying that Dallas Morning News blogger Tim MacMahon could effectively take him out of a game if he had help over the top. This was a shocking admission, which caused MacMahon to question his decision to pursue journalism -- on so many levels. T.O. wanted to make sure that none of his comments would be portrayed in a negative light. He said that he and offensive coordinator Jason Garrett have not discussed his sit-down interview with Deion Sanders in which he blamed his troubles on the Cowboys' offensive "system."

"I'm not saying that in a negative way," said T.O. "For whatever reason, the opportunities didn't present themselves. Like I said, I know what I can do once I get the opportunities and I get catchable balls."

In the past, T.O. has privately told teammates and reporters not to pay attention to how many throws come in his direction. He wants people to focus on the "catchable" balls. Folks, we're talking about the consummate teammate here. So stop being so cynical.
