Giants ask fans to induce false starts

Seattle's Qwest Field is considered one of the toughest places in the NFL to play because of the noise level. As Mike Garafolo points out, the Giants had 11 false starts in a loss to the Seahawks three years ago.

Now, center Shaun O'Hara is asking Giants fans to stop griping about PSLs, and start making some noise. He wants them to cause 15 false starts, which seems a little ambitious if you ask me.

"It'll be nice playing the Seattle Seahawks at home, not having to get on that plane, fly out there and not having to deal with their crowd noise," said O'Hara. "My only request is that our fans return the favor and bring their noisemakers and do their part to get them to have 15 false starts."

Are a lot of fans bringing noisemakers to games these days? I didn't even know those were allowed.
