Only four Big East games results in just three stickers awarded. ESPN is saving some money on glue.
LeSean McCoy, RB, Pittsburgh: Hard to believe this is McCoy's first sticker of the year, but at least No. 1 is a no-doubter. He had a season-high 142 yards rushing on 28 carries and scored two touchdowns as Pitt upset South Florida, 26-21 on Thursday night.
Brian Kelly, head coach, Cincinnati: OK, so Kelly doesn't wear a helmet (unless he dresses up as Darth Vader for Halloween). But he and his staff deserve recognition for getting the Bearcats' fourth-string starting quarterback, redshirt freshman Chazz Anderson, to perform well in his first ever collegiate appearance after a short week of practice. Anderson went 16-of-26 for 158 yards and a touchdown against one interception and ran for another score in a 33-10 win at Marshall on Friday night.
Donald Brown, RB, Connecticut: The Huskies' 38-12 loss at North Carolina didn't prevent Brown from earning his sixth straight sticker. Brown piled up another 161 yards on 33 carries and scored the lone UConn touchdown. He's now on pace for more than 2,100 yards this season, not counting a possible bowl game.
