Boys state-by-state rankings

Evansville Memorial (Ind.) claimed a second straight state title and undefeated season to secure its place among the nation's elite teams in 2008.

This week, the playoffs heat up in such power states as California (with the start of sectional play), New York and Pennsylvania (the start of state play) and Ohio (with the finish of the state tournament).
