Player to watch: Lindsey Davis

Lindsey Davis, a Missouri native, is a 2009 graduate and a catcher for Archbishop O'Hara High School and the KC Wahoos.

Davis has been a force for her high school having lettered since 2005. She has also received First Team All-League and First Team All-District honors since she joined the Varsity squad in 2005. In 2005 she was also a First Team All-Region selection and in 2006 she was she a Second Team All-Region choice.

Davis is not only a star on the field, but off the field as well. She is a member of many academic organizations including being the President of the National Honors Society, a Student Ambassador, and a participant in Lasallian Youth. She has been a member of the Honor Roll, the Academic Knowledge Bowl, and the Student Council. On top of all that, she maintains over a 4.0 GPA and has received service and leadership awards as a result of her efforts on and off the field.

Head Coach Deb Schmidt on Davis: "Lindsey is the best receiving catcher I've ever seen. She also has a great bat and is a very disciplined hitter.
