| | Jacinda Ramos |
As a pitcher she excels on the mound with several pitches to keep batters off balance. Her repertoire includes a combination of change-ups, rise balls, curve balls, screws balls and drop balls.
In 2008 she shined on the mound and received several post-season awards. She was All State, All Johnson County, All Olathe, Firt Team Sunflower League, and was named the Sunflower League Newcomer of the Year. She also helped her team to a second place finish at the 6A state tournament after winning a regional championship. She did all this as just a freshman!
Head Coach Deb Schmidt on Ramos: "Jacinda has great mound presence and good control. The rotations on her pitches are tight and fast. She has a great work ethic and is a student of the game."
