Thirteen goalkeepers participated in this year's adidas ESP soccer camp for boys in Denver, Colo. last week, and we were there to rate the top performers. Here is a list of standouts - keepers to keep an eye on for years to come:

1. Cody Mizell, Woodstock, Ga.

Class of 2010
Club: GSA Phoenix U17 Red
High School: Woodstock
Notes: Mizell's player summary was listed a few days ago in the top players at the camp. He won the Golden Gloves Award at the end of the ESP event. Mizell has spent time with the under-17 and under-18 national teams.

2. Keon Parsa, West Hills, Calif.

Class of 2010
Club: Rampage FC Blue
High School: El Camino Real
Notes: As one coach put it, "he has personality and presence in goal. Parsa, who is 5-10, 165 pounds, works well with the ebb and flow of the match. He demonstrated good skills in the drill sessions. He might have been the biggest surprise among the keepers.

3. Taylor Hafling, Louisville, Ky.

Class of 2010
Club: Javanon
High School: Male
Notes: Hafling already has college size at 6-3, and he will grow into that frame since he only weighs 160 at the moment. He was good at moving play. He had good game presence.

4. Max Kurtzman, Haverford, Pa.

Class of 2011
Club: FC Delco
High School: The Haverford School
Notes: Kurtzman was the second-best communicator (behind Mizell) among the keeper lot. His strength was organizing defenses tactically. He stands 5-11, 150.

5. Preston Langholz, Tulsa Okla.

Class of 2010
Club: Tulsa Thunder
High School: Booker T. Washington
Notes: Like Hafling, Langholz already has college/pro size at 6-3, 180. He has been called into action with the under-18 national team. Although he did not make the ESP All-Star contest, he was close to the top of the mix.

Cozy Mizell, Keon Parsa, Taylor Hafling, Max Kurtzman, Preston Langholz, adidas ESP, GA, CA, KY, PA, OK
