New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin believes you're never too old to wear T-shirts bearing inspirational messages. When the Giants arrive in Albany on Thursday, many of them will be wearing a T-shirt that says, "It's a Whole New Season."

Throughout the 2008 campaign, the Giants will roll out more T-shirts. Last year, they began with "Talk is Cheap, Play the Game" and then transitioned into the always fun "Mental Toughness" T-shirt. No, you won't find these gems at your nearest Urban Outfitters, but you have to admire Tom's pursuit of just the right well-worn phrase.

Here's hoping he uses a T-shirt gun on the first day of training camp. Wouldn't that be fun to see a red-faced Coughlin (redundant) firing inspirational messages into the stands?

In case you're wondering, the other T-shirts from last year's Super Bowl run were "Prove it!" and "Together We are One," which was ripped off from my high school basketball coach, Billy Alexander.
