Sam Adams is dead set on not letting it all end the way it did last season.

Adams, who'll turn 35 next month, is working out with intentions of signing with an NFL team and prolonging his NFL career. Adams, a first-round pick of Seattle's in 1994 who has played for six NFL teams, was cut by Denver last December. The three-time Pro Bowl player and a Super Bowl champion with Baltimore wants another crack.

"I don't want it to end like that," Adams said, "I have more football in me. I can help a lot of teams."

Adams said he played at 355 pounds last season. He said he is down to 340 pounds and plans on playing this season in the 320s.Perhaps teams such as Tennessee, Oakland or Seattle would be interested in Adams.

"I can still dominate," Adams said."That's what I plan on doing."
