We're still attempting to nail down which team will be the first to roll out the red carpet for former Bengals receiver Chris Henry. A Cincinnati judge ruled that Henry, who allegedly assaulted a man last month, can make the trip while awaiting his trial. As many of you know, Henry has been suspended twice by the NFL for violations of the league's substance abuse policy. And he could be facing another suspension.
The Pewter Report is shooting down a report that suggested Henry was headed to Tampa. Quick question: Is it hard to get through airport security while wearing an ankle monitor? Well, I guess it won't matter since the judge said Henry could travel without a device.
I have to make a quick trip to Valley Ranch for a luncheon later this morning, so I'll let you know if I bump into Henry.
