As we discussed earlier today, the Cowboys will be the next team featured in HBO's "Hard Knocks" series. It's a coup for the network, which spent last training camp with the Kansas City Chiefs.
A league source just told Hashmarks that the announcement will be made at a noon luncheon at Valley Ranch on Wednesday. I'm told that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and HBO director of sports Ross Greenberg will both attend the luncheon, which will also feature lemon chicken and a limited amount of mahi-mahi.
I'm sure Greenberg and his staff are praying that cornerback Pacman Jones is reinstated in time to participate in the series. From what I recall in 2002, Jerry will have some say in the editorial content, which basically means that he'll appear in almost every scene.
More on the "Hard Knocks" announcement during "Tuesdays with Mosley" on ESPN 103.3 in about 45 minutes. And we'll continue to track this important story as it develops.
