Former Green Bay Packers quarterback
Brett Favre made a rare offseason public appearance this week at the Colonial All-Pro Football Camp in Williamsburg, Va.
During a question-and-answer session with campers, Favre said he is accomplishing his goal of not doing much during his first few months of retirement.
"I'm not in a hurry to do anything," Favre said, according to the Virginia Gazette. "I've had people ask me about TV, about coaching. Why jump into something that's going to take up as much time as football did, when more than anything, one of the biggest reasons I got out [is] the demand?"
Favre has attended the camp for the past four years. It is run by the College of William & Mary and its legendary football coach, Jimmye Laycock. Also in attendance were Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson and Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten.
