Some time next Thursday, the Atlanta Falcons will walk off their practice field in Flowery Branch, Ga. Then, there will be no football -- for almost an entire month. The league that no longer has much of an offseason will go largely quiet until the Washington Redskins and Baltimore Ravens kick off training camp practices July 22.
We've worked very hard to assemble a schedule for training camps, although not every team has set its dates in stone. But, basically, the Falcons end their minicamp next week and every other team already has sent its coaches and players on vacation. They'll all be back to work by late July.
