A nice wrinkle to the Chargers' minicamp this weekend is the inclusion of fans. The workouts Saturday were open to the public and several hundred fans came out for a sneak preview of the 2008 Chargers. Fans were lining up almost three hours before the afternoon practice, on a very warm San Diego afternoon, to get dibs on the best bleacher seats.
The most dedicated fan at camp? That's an easy one. It had to be the guy who had the Chargers' lightning bolt insignia tattooed on both sides of his bald head. True story. It put LaDainian Tomlinson's tattoo of a Chargers' logo on his calf a distant second in the race for the most loyal art work of the camp.
