Rams knock off fifth-round signing

The Rams signed fifth-round draft choice Roy Schuening, the first of the team's 2008 selections to sign with the team. Arizona has signed two of its choices. The other NFC West teams, Seattle and San Francisco, have yet to sign draft choices. The later-round picks should continue to trickle in.

The NFC West features few high-profile draft-pick negotiations given that the Rams were the only team in the division to pick in the first half of the 31-choice first round. Arizona picked 16th. The Seahawks picked 28th. The 49ers picked 29th.
