Broncos first-round pick Ryan Clady has seen some fellow top picks sign their contracts and it is getting him anxious to get his deal done.

Clady said it could be sooner than later before a deal is struck. He said the Broncos and his agents are going to meet face-to-face "in the coming week." The left tackle was the No. 12 overall pick from Boise State.

"I think we can get it done soon," Clady said. "It's something I want to get done ... They are about to start talking and that's exciting to me."

Meanwhile, Denver tight end Tony Scheffler was on the field Tuesday and he was running well after practice. Scheffler has been out for a few weeks with a left foot injury. He broke the same foot last May. The team expects him back for training camp. Denver had a two-day camp planned for early July but that is no longer the plan. After the Broncos conclude their OTA days Thursday, the team won't assemble on the field until July 25 for the start of training camp.
