The LaMont Jordan stalemate in Oakland continues.
Jordan's departure had been considered a foregone conclusion since the Raiders took tailback Darren McFadden with the No. 4 overall draft pick in April. Still, the Raiders have held onto Jordan despite the fact that they told him not to practice after he showed up for the team's mandatory minicamp last week.
The team and Jordan's agent have been trying to find trade partners, but dealing players on the cusp of being cut is never easy. It's clear Oakland doesn't want Jordan in the mix anymore and it's clear Jordan wants to be free to sign elsewhere. Still, Jordan remains in Oakland.
