How will the Bears react to this?

There was much speculation that the Bears would release Cedric Benson after his recent well-publicized arrest for driving a boat drink and resisting. They didn't. What is going to happen now?

There is a report that Benson has been arrested for drunken driving. It will be interesting to see what the Bears, who showed a lack of patience with Tank Johnson and cut him after multiple legal issues, do with Benson. It will also be interesting to see how 280 Park Avenue reacts as well to his latest transgression.

The Bears like their second round pick Matt Forte, a tailback out of Tulane and there could be a scenario where they need him in 2008 more than they thought.
