Heiden update

Cleveland Browns tight end Steve Heiden is progressing well after recent back surgery to repair a bulging disc but has yet to return to offseason practices, agent Jack Wirth told Hashmarks.

Heiden injured his back lifting weights in April. The original timeline was approximately three weeks, but a month later Heiden hasn't joined the team for organized team activities.

Wirth didn't provide an updated timeline but felt optimistic that Heiden could be ready for Cleveland's veteran minicamp June 10-12.
