One of the first things John Harbaugh did as head coach of the Baltimore Ravens was order a new calendar shoot for the team's cheerleaders. The western themes of the late 90s and the infamous Edgar Allen Poe shoot seemed dated.

Selected cheerleaders heard about Harbaugh's vision for something more atmospheric and headed off to the Dominican Republic. In case you missed it, Leslie A. live-blogged from Punta Cana, where the cheerleaders survived some grueling days.

"My day started at 8 a.m. with a run on the beach and a very intense ab workout. Afterwards, I joined the other girls for a delicious buffet breakfast at the hotel. Most of the talk at breakfast was about how pleased each of us were with our individual shoots yesterday."

Leslie pretty much summarized my last vacation in those three sentences. Back with more football in just a moment.
