The Raiders are still considered one of the leading candidates to sign free-agent receiver Koren Robinson, who was recently cut by Green Bay.

Still, the Raiders might not move quickly. They are studying their younger receivers in the OTA sessions and will continue in the full-team minicamp in the first week of June. Two of Oakland's five draft picks, fourth-rounder Arman Shields of Richmond and seventh-rounder Chaz Schilens of San Diego State, are receivers. Thus, the team wants to see how these two players perform now before deciding if it should go after a veteran such as Robinson before training camp starts.

Thus, Robinson might have to wait a couple more weeks before knowing if Oakland wants to sign him. Kansas City has also shown marginal interest in Robinson, but Chiefs coach Herman Edwards recently said he doesn't foresee the team signing a veteran before training camp starts.
