The Denver Broncos have decided that they will go another season without using No. 27.
The number was last used in Denver by starting right cornerback Darrent Williams. He was killed in downtown Denver on Jan. 1, 2007 after hosting a New Year's Eve party hours after the final game of the 2006 regular season.
Williams was a Bronco for two years and quickly become an in-house and fan favorite for his exciting style of play and his outgoing personality. One of his agents, Troy Asmus said he was told by the team that it is has decided not to use the number for another year.
