The NFL has listened to Michael Irvin. At his Pro Football Hall of Fame induction last year, Irvin said he thought the league should send every incoming player to the Canton, Ohio, venue.

The league loved the idea and will now send rookies from every team to Canton this summer starting May 28 with the rooks from Oakland heading to Canton. This is a great idea to give the incoming players both a taste of inspiration and a feel for the responsibility they'll soon be facing.

Here are the dates rookies will tour the museum:

  • May 28: Oakland
  • May 30: Arizona, Denver, Jacksonville, Tampa Bay
  • May 31: Baltimore, Buffalo, Cincinnati, New England
  • June 2: Pittsburgh
  • June 6: Carolina, Chicago, Detroit
  • June 7: St. Louis, Tennessee
  • June 9: Atlanta, Miami
  • June 11: New York Jets
  • June 13: Dallas, Green Bay, Philadelphia
  • June 14: San Diego
  • June 16: Kansas City
  • June 18: Cleveland, Houston, New Orleans, New York Giants
  • June 19: Seattle
  • June 23: San Francisco, Minnesota
  • Hall of Fame weekend: Indianapolis, Washington
