Former Seahawks and 49ers cornerback Jimmy Williams is back in the league after signing with the Texans. The gregarious Williams was extremely popular in the Seattle locker room. Knee injuries have interrupted his career, but the Texans know what they are getting. One of their new assistants, Ray Rhodes, was in Seattle when Williams played a role in getting Seattle to Super Bowl XL after the 2005 season. If Williams is healthy, he can provide depth in the secondary and a spark in the locker room. Note: This is not the Jimmy Williams who remains employed by the Falcons. I've seen a report today that confused the two.
