The Cleveland Browns suffered their first injury of the 2008 season, when starting offensive guard Ryan Tucker suffered a fracture in his hip during organized team activities earlier this week.
On Friday, Tucker had successful surgery at The Cleveland Clinic to repair the fracture, the team announced. Tucker, who is a 12-year veteran, started the final eight games for the Browns at right guard in 2007 and is expected to be ready for the regular season.
