Scratch Mormino from Dolphins' line dance

Go ahead and erase Drew Mormino from the Dolphins' starting lineup, if you had him there. Miami released him as waived/injured today, the team announced.

The Dolphins had not committed to Mormino as a starter, but he was almost there by default heading into the draft. Miami drafted three offensive linemen this year, including guards Shawn Murphy and Donald Thomas. The team now has 12 offensive linemen on its roster. The league average is slightly more than 14.
