The skinny on Russell

The JaMarcus Russell weight watch is officially over. The second-year quarterback isn't in the pre-surgery Star Jones weight class. He weighs 269 pounds. Rumors were floating around the Bay Area the Russell was heavier than most of his offensive linemen.

But Russell showed up at an Oakland OTA session Thursday in solid shape. Now all Russell, the No. 1 overall draft pick in 2007, has to do is show he can play.
