Delhomme airs it out

Good news for the Panthers. Quarterback Jake Delhomme threw 34 passes during a Friday minicamp session. Delhomme, who is coming off Tommy John elbow surgery, wasn't expected to take part in the minicamp.

But he's obviously ahead of schedule and the Panthers gave him the green light to make some throws during the individual drills at the start of camp. Delhomme did not participate in the team drills. All indications are Delhomme's recovery is going perfectly and the team hopes he'll be 100 percent for the start of training camp in late July.
