Chargers extend long snapper

 The Chargers have several key veterans to negotiate with in the next two years; however, they did get one important player signed in the form of long snapper David Binn.

You may say 'who cares? He's just a long snapper.' But Binn is a veteran leader for the Chargers who many of his teammates regard highly. He's part of the big picture in San Diego and is a key to the special teams. This may not be as big as re-signing Philip Rivers or Shawne Merriman, but the Chargers need Binn so this was an important step.
