Chiefs cut rookie QB

Ricky Santos is no longer a Kansas City Chief. That was quick. The Chiefs waived him this week.

Santos was one of the most intriguing free agents to sign with a team after last month's draft. The New Hampshire quarterback was a small-school star and a Walter Payton Award winner.

Kansas City looked like a nice spot for Santos. Kansas City needs some young arms, but apparently Santos won't be in the mix. The Chiefs had their rookies in for a minicamp last week and the team clearly wasn't impressed with Santos.
