NFL teams have known their opponents since the season ended, thanks to the formula adopted when the league realigned to eight divisions in 2002.
The chart shows how the matchups break down for the 2008 season. The AFC East matches against the AFC West and NFC West this season, etc.
We'll have much more on the schedule once the league announces dates and kickoff times tomorrow.
From the NFL: "The schedule format takes each team through a cycle of games -- home and away -- against every other team in the league. From 2002 to 2009, every team will play every other team at least twice -- once home and once away. After the 2009 season, a decision will be made on whether to continue with the same rotation or modify it."
