Rob Ryan makes a bold statement

Raiders defensive coordinator Rob Ryan threw down the gauntlet Sunday. He believes his team possess the best pair of cornerbacks in the NFL. So take that Denver. You too Green Bay.

When asked if there is a better pair of cornerbacks than interception magnet Nnamdi Asomugha and newly acquired DeAngelo Hall in the league, Ryan didn't hesitate.

"No," Ryan said.

Is it even close?

"Nope," Ryan said.

That's a bold statement.

Ryan said the addition of Hall, acquired from Atlanta for a second-round pick last month, gives himself "a swagger." "You just see what he brings to the table and it's exciting," Ryan said.
