Mr. Irrelevant

The 2008 NFL draft has come to a close. The Rams took Idaho outside linebacker David Vobora with the final pick of the draft. An elderly man held up the "Mr. Irrelevant" Rams jersey, which had the No. 252 written on the back.

Vobora will be invited to Newport Beach, Calif., for a Mr. Irrelevant festival later this offseason. I've been wanting to attend this thing for years. I think Hashmarks would be a good fit for "Mr. Irrelevant."

Folks, I'm getting ready to check out. You guys have been a tremendous audience. I've found your comments to be thoughtful and somewhat hurtful at the same time. But I couldn't do this without you.
