Greetings from Carnegie Deli

Just ingested four pounds of pastrami at the world-famous Carnegie Deli with my editor John Banks and Los Angeles Times NFL columnist Sam Farmer. On the way back to our work area, we bumped into Sondra Fortunato, who bills herself as Miss NFL Draft.

Ms. Fortunato, who kept telling me that her brother-in-law is head of Paramount Studios, is wearing a huge, white ballgown covered with laminated newspaper articles that were written about her. She showed me a Page 6 article that appeared in the New York Post.

Fortunato has pumped some life back into this crowd. I'm pretty sure the Jets just selected Kansas wide receiver Marcus Henry in the sixth round. Back in a moment with pick-by-pick coverage in the sixth round. Atlanta just made its selection and the Texans are on the clock.

Let's talk soon.

NFL draft, Marcus Henry
