By my count, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has already traded out of two picks today (three if you count the Pacman trade).
The Raiders moved up to take Connecticut cornerback Tyvon Branch at No. 100. He's a player the Cowboys liked, so it's a little surprising that they moved out of the pick. They now have Oakland's 104th pick and a seventh-rounder (213).
By the way, I heard some conversation recently suggesting that players would rather become free agents than be drafted in the sixth or seventh rounds. I know that sounds crazy, but it gives players the opportunity to have more say in their destination. Case in point: If the Raiders had taken Tony Romo in the seventh round and then cut him a year later, we may have never heard from him again.
