The Baltimore Ravens just took Notre Dame safety Tom Zbikowski with the 86th overall pick. He's the first of nine picks for Baltimore today. For some reason, the Ravens have been great in the fourth round over the past few years, but they have struggled a little bit in the third. After last season, college scouting director Eric DeCosta challenged his staff to focus on the third round.

Zbikowski will be a good fit in this defense. He plays with a swagger, and he comes across as brash at times. To succeed in the Ravens' defense, you have to be able to match Ray Lewis' intensity. It's a mentality that few defenses have. Zbikowski won't be an immediate starter, but the Ravens will find a way to use him. John Harbaugh loves this type of player.
