No action on Taylor front

No teams called the Dolphins about acquiring defensive end Jason Taylor, general manager Jeff Ireland told reporters in Miami today. No surprise there. It's not Taylor teams are wary about acquiring. It's his fat contract. No team was going to give up a first-day pick. Any team making a move for Taylor would presumably call Sunday, offering a lower-round pick.

Ireland on the level of discussion involving Taylor: "Really none today. Didn't get any calls. So there was no discussion."
